MOLE REMOVAL

A normal mole is usually an evenly coloured brown, tan, or black spot on the skin. It can be either flat or raised. Most moles are a harmless accumulation of melanin in an area of skin. But, it’s important to recognize changes in a mole, such as its size, shape, colour, or texture, that can suggest a cancerous mole. Removing a mole can prevent the mole from becoming cancerous.

EFFECTS & BENEFITS

If a mole is bothering you aesthetics-wise, then removing it can help improve your self-confidence. Moreover, it’s important to have your moles removed because it is possible for them to contain cancerous cells. For your peace of mind and to reduce the risk of cancerous cells spreading, we always recommend having moles removed.

TECHNOLOGY & INGREDIENTS

At FusionMed Cosmetic, mole removal is done by using electrolysis. We will apply numbing cream on the skin surface. Since the area is numbed, and the process is quite quick, you will feel brief tingling near the area, but the process is painless.

We also offer laser mole removal. The primary benefit of laser mole removal is that it is non-invasive. Because there is no cutting or burning of the skin, the risk of infection is reduced significantly. Lasers are also able to reach areas of the body such as the face or nose that may be difficult to treat using other methods.

BEFORE AND AFTER

FAQ

Does mole removal leave scars?

Mole removal does not typically result in scarring, and there is a small chance of recurrence. Note that there is a small risk of a noticeable scar anytime the skin is incised.
