How many sessions are required?
You will likely see the results immediately after treatment. The colour and thickness of your hair, area treated, the type of laser used, and the colour of your skin all affect the results. You can expect a 10% to 25% reduction in hair after the first treatment. Hair is reduced with each treatment, and optimal results are visible after 4 to 6 sessions. The number of sessions needed will differ depending on your hair colour, hair type, body area, and skin tone.
Which areas of the body can be treated?
The laser can be used safely on most areas of the body that have unwanted hair. The most commonly treated areas include the bikini line, legs, arms, chest, back, shoulders, stomach, neck, chin, and side.
Is there downtime?
No, laser hair removal generally does not require any prolonged downtime. Immediately after laser hair removal, your treated skin will be red and swollen. For a day or two afterward, the treated area of your skin will look and feel like it’s sunburned. Cool compresses and moisturizers may help. Despite this, most people return to their everyday activities soon after treatment.
