Golden PRP Toronto

An advanced form of platelet-rich plasma therapy incorporating gold micro-particles to enhance growth factor delivery — stimulating tissue regeneration, collagen synthesis, and cellular renewal.

Book Consultation

Overview

Golden PRP elevates traditional platelet-rich plasma therapy by incorporating pharmaceutical-grade gold micro-particles into the PRP preparation. Gold has documented anti-inflammatory properties and may enhance cellular uptake of growth factors. The resulting formulation — rich in platelets, growth factors (including PDGF, TGF-β, and VEGF), and gold particles — is injected into the skin or scalp to stimulate tissue repair, collagen production, and, in the case of scalp treatments, hair follicle activation. At FusionMed, PRP is processed in a closed, sterile system to maintain the highest quality and platelet concentration.

Benefits

What to Expect

  • Uses the patient's own biological material — no risk of allergic reaction or rejection

  • Gold micro-particles enhance anti-inflammatory effects and may improve growth factor bioavailability

  • Stimulates collagen production and tissue regeneration for natural skin improvement

  • Effective hair follicle activation for androgenetic and diffuse hair loss

  • Improves skin quality, fine lines, and radiance across the face and neck

  • Addresses under-eye hollowness and dark circles related to vascular congestion

  • Compatible with most other aesthetic treatments when appropriately sequenced

Ideal Candidate

Who It's For

Golden PRP is appropriate for adults seeking natural skin regeneration, improved skin quality, or hair restoration using their own biological material. It is particularly effective for patients with early hair thinning, general skin fatigue and dullness, under-eye concerns, and those seeking an organic approach to anti-aging. It is not suitable during pregnancy, for patients on blood thinners, or those with certain platelet disorders. A medical consultation and blood draw are required at the first session.

The Process

How It Works

01

Blood Draw & Processing

A small volume of blood (typically 15–30ml) is drawn from your arm. It is processed in a medical centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma fraction. Gold micro-particles are added to the prepared PRP under sterile conditions.

02

Injection or Combined Application

The Golden PRP is injected into the treatment area using a fine needle or applied topically following microneedling to maximize dermal penetration. Scalp injections target the hair follicle zone at a depth of 2–4mm.

03

Regenerative Response

Growth factors activate tissue repair and collagen synthesis over 4–8 weeks. For hair loss, follicle activation typically becomes apparent at 3–4 months. A series of 3–4 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart delivers optimal results.

Common Questions

FAQs

What makes Golden PRP different from standard PRP?

Standard PRP contains concentrated platelets and growth factors from your own blood. Golden PRP adds pharmaceutical-grade gold micro-particles to the preparation. Gold has documented anti-inflammatory and potential bioactive properties that may enhance the treatment's regenerative effects and provide additional antioxidant benefits.

How many Golden PRP sessions are needed?

A standard course consists of 3–4 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. For hair restoration, 4–6 sessions may be recommended with ongoing quarterly maintenance to sustain follicle activation. Skin rejuvenation results are typically sustained with 1–2 maintenance sessions per year.

Is PRP safe?

Yes. PRP is derived from your own blood, eliminating the risk of allergic reactions or rejection. The primary risks are those associated with any injection procedure — bruising, swelling, and rare infection. At FusionMed, PRP is processed in a closed sterile system and administered under medical supervision.

Can Golden PRP be combined with microneedling?

Yes — this is one of the most effective combinations in regenerative aesthetics. Microneedling creates controlled channels in the skin through which PRP growth factors penetrate at depth, dramatically enhancing the biological response. The combination is particularly effective for acne scarring, general rejuvenation, and scalp hair restoration.
